Management

Bart Engels, Managing Partner and co-founder

Bart has more than 25 years experience in international business development, general management, project management and project financing. Before co-founding Health Access International he was General Manager of a tech-services company based in in South Africa and Regional Manager for a turn-key hospital design and construction company. Bart has a degree in Aerospace Engineering and is specialised in the development of healthcare, industrial, and telecom projects with an emphasis on feasibility & market studies, engineering and project management.

Gerbrand van der Linde, Partner and co-founder

Gerbrand has an extensive national and international background in financial and general management. He is CFO of Arts en Zorg, the largest primary healthcare service provider in The Netherlands and Director of Primary Care Caribbean (Dutch Caribbean). Before co-founding Health Access International he worked at PwC and was a senior management member of various companies active in healthcare and the development of healthcare infrastructure. He completed studies at the Erasmus University, Rotterdam, INSEAD Fontainebleau and Harvard Business School. Gerbrand is specialised in feasibility studies, project financing, financial modelling, digital  transformation, and public tendering.

Chairman of the Advisory Board

Amon van den Borg

Amon is CEO of Arts en Zorg, the largest primary health services provider in The Netherlands and has more than 20 years experience managing large international projects and organisations. Together with the Dutch governmental organisation for refugees COA, he developed and implemented a medical referral system for refugees entering The Netherlands.
